Dr. William J. Hedden
William J. Hedden, M.D., has the experience, surgical skills, compassion and artistic eye to make your
cosmetic surgery endeavor a comfortable and rewarding experience. Dr. Hedden has performed thousands of breast augmentation
procedures using both Transumbilical Breast Augmentation (TUBA) and the more traditional approaches.
Dr. Hedden is a graduate of the University of Florida. He earned his medical degree from the
University of South Florida College of Medicine and completed a residencies at Louisiana State University Medical Center and
the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Hedden is board certified in plastic surgery by the
American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of many prestigious professional organizations, including the
American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). He is affiliated with several
Birmingham, Alabama area hospitals, including Trinity Medical Center, Brookwood Medical Center and Children's Hospital.
Dr. Christopher J. Schaffer
Christopher J. Schaffer, M.D., is an experienced plastic surgeon with extensive training and
expertise in the latest surgical and minimally-invasive procedures. Dr. Schaffer carefully listens to the goals and expectations
of each patient to help them achieve the best possible results with cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Schaffer is a graduate of the University of Nebraska, earned his medical doctorate from the
University of Nebraska Medical Center and performed residencies at Temple University Hospital,
Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Schaffer is
board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of
professional organizations that include the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and
American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).
Dr. R. Lee England
R. Lee England, IV, M.D., is a caring, experienced surgeon with the expertise and skills
to produce outstanding cosmetic results. Dr. England performs a variety of procedures — both surgical and non-surgical —
using today's most innovative and up-to-date technologies and equipment at our Birmingham-Hoover AL cosmetic center.
Dr. England graduated from the University of Tennessee and earned three letters as a member of the
varsity football team. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College and performed a surgical internship
at the University of Kentucky. Dr. England's surgical training continued at Vanderbilt Medical Center and
the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is experienced in a wide variety of surgical techniques, with a focus
on cosmetic and minimally-invasive procedures.
